Radon is a radioactive gas that forms from the breakdown of uranium in the soil. Once formed, it rises from the soil to dissipate into the air. Generally the outdoor air level for radon gas ranges from 0.4pCi/L to 0.7pCi/L which is generally considered safe. The issue with radon gas comes when radon has nowhere to dissipate. When a structure blocks it’s path up from the soil, radon will find a way inside to continue rising.
Sump Pump Installation
Lifetime Environmental Solutions can and does install new sump pumps. However, we do not service existing ones or their warranties. We can install pumps appropriate for nearly any situation. However, there can be circumstances that exceed our technical ability and we are not shy about letting our clients know when this occurs. In some circumstances we can install an entire drain tile system, crock and new pump if there is a water log issue beneath your slab.
Installing a new sump pump rather than servicing an old one ensures better reliability and performance, as new models are often more efficient and equipped with advanced features. This proactive approach reduces the risk of failure, minimizes repair costs, and provides peace of mind, especially during heavy rainfall or flooding events.
